When I used to work at ShopKo, it was part of our job to make sure discarded items ended up in the Lost and Found. Most days the box was full to the brim with things that careless people had left behind in their rush to be ..where ever it was they were going. Bottles, pacifiers, medical id, books, mittens.. You name it, it was in there!
