Last night Ian and I wanted to do something together before he has to leave again on Monday. But we could only find a babysitter for Mariah because my grandma was already watching my niece and three kids would’ve been too much for her. After awhile, we just decided to take Gabriel with us. Hubby treated me to dinner at Applebee’s and then some late night shopping. We hit up Kohl’s, Target and finally Wal-mart (it being the only store that stays open past 10:00pm). We didn’t pull in our driveway until 12:35am. I was beat!

I managed to find some nice summer tops, new PJ pants, hair dye, makeup, scrapbook supplies, things for both the kids, a new throw for my couch and a bunch of other small items. In a little bit I’m going to dye my hair L’Oreal Paris’ “Medium Auburn”. My hair is naturally red, but too light for my tastes so I normally dye it a darker shade of red. I’m anxious to see how this one turns out. Hopefully good, since I bought a two-for-one deal.

It’ll give me something to do while I wait for Ian to return home from golfing. I think later we’re going to his parent’s house to go swimming. IF it gets warm enough, it’s kind of chilly right now. For the time being, I’m just going to sit around and maybe watch Mama’s Boy. We bought it last night and started to watch it in bed but we got.. distracted. By the time we REALLY started it, it was nearly 3:00am and I was way too tired.

Speaking of movies, I’m kind of disappointed we didn’t see The Dark Knight this week, but tickets were selling out like crazy! Did anyone see it? Was it good? Don’t give me any spoilers of course. But was it as good as you thought it’d be? I really want to see it.
