04.17.08 Edition: 13 Things I Want To Try And Other Meaningless Goals
1. Start working on a new wordpress theme for May, because I know it’ll take me that long to actually finish it. I tend to lose my concentration. Oh, and I have kids, okay?
2. Stop blaming things on the kids seems appropriate for number 2.
3. Organize my bookshelves. Really, it’s quite scary at the moment. I need to weed out books for a rummage sale or something. (Did you believe that one? No? Good.)
4. Get my tattoo by the end of summer! Now that I have it picked out.
5. Work out more. Yawn.
6. Spend more time offline. Although I don’t think my marriage can handle it.
7. Get rid of this border. Deliver me from this evil. Or something like that.
8. Actually plan out dinner more often. Which leads me to:
9. Try new recipes! Anyone got some good ones?
10. Blog more. More more more more more. And even more than that.
11. Learn something new every day week.
12. Succeed on my planned road trip to Vermont in June.
13. (Hello, #13. I love you. I thought we’d never meet.) Figure out how to keep my house clean longer than an hour. Husbands and toddlers really take its toll on the poor thing.

I don’t have toddlers anymore but my hubby and 22 year old son keep me busy with housework. Of course, the way they clean they leave things behind so it’s just easier for me to do it once than to keep going behind them. :-)

Cleaning is impossible with children and a husband. We have a cleaner…and it looks lovely…until the kids walk through and it’s like a tornado visited.
