Today our town had a Fall Festival and part of it was a costume contest for the kids. Since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to enter Mariah in it - and she won first prize! Here she is in her Little Bo Peep outfit with her sheep played by Petey the dog. The entire outfit was handmade by my mother-in-law and I think it turned out awesome.

Then after they announced the winners, all the kids walked in a parade up main street.

Everyone had lots of fun and like I said, it was the perfect day for it.

So if you read my Skillz post, you know that I’ve been having trouble with my garbage disposal. Every time I thought it was fixed, it would crap out on me again. And there’s nothing nastier than a sink full of dirty water and miscellaneous gunk. Well, finally Hubby discovered the problem. Somehow a key had wormed it’s way into the disposal and was caught in it. Amazing, the way things like this happen when there’s a toddler in the house.

Toilet clogged? Probably a Little People dinosaur hiding in the pipes.

Disposal broken? Hope that wasn’t your house key, Mommy!

I am, however, very proud of my disposal’s key bending skillz.

Here’s to me seeing what else it can rip apart.

I got a job today! Training starts on the 23rd, I can’t wait. The other job I have ends on the 18th so this is just what I needed. Plus this one is full time Monday-Friday with benefits. Just in time for the baby and the holidays! Now I can buy myself a new computer monitor gifts for everyone.
