Saturday night Ian and I went out with Meghan and A.J. Originally we were going to Meghan’s brother’s house to chill out for awhile and then maybe go to the bar later. Well, when we got there, Andy (her brother) and his friends were just sitting outside around a tiny bonfire. None of us knew we’d be outside, so nobody dressed accordingly. After freezing out ass off (guess who decided to wear open toed sandals that night?!), we told them we were heading to the bar.
As I was gathering up my stuff, Nick (who had wayyyy too much to drink) stumbled into me and nearly sent me flying into the lawn chairs. So, he apologized, I apologized (for screaming “WHAT THE HELL?!?!” when it happened, he scared the crap out of me!) and I once again swooped down to pick up my purse. He stumbled into me again and this time I did go flying into the chairs. I also hit A.J. who reached out with one arm to catch me from slamming against him. He was holding a hunting knife in his other hand and if I would’ve went any farther I would’ve been stabbed! Freaky. I grabbed my crap and ran for the car, I wasn’t taking any more chances!
The rest of the night we bar hopped and had a great time, just the four of us. I did drink way too much because when we set the alarm that night, we set it for PM instead of AM, so I woke up at 12:40pm and my training class started at 12:00pm! Luckily, they were busy helping people with their tech problems, so they didn’t notice. We spent the day learning two new programs and then went over the basics and requirements for service (the certain amount of ram, OS, hard drive space, browser, etc). Pretty boring stuff, but some people just can’t seem to grasp it. I don’t know how they’re going to help others with technical problems if they can’t even figure out their own, but whatever.
That’s their problem, not mine.
By the way, anyone want some good tips on how to buy house plants?
