A.J. was having a bonfire last night, so Ian and I decided to go. My dad was in town, so he watched Gabriel for us (Mariah was at her Grandmas). After stopping by the store to quickly grab some Bacardi and a 12 pack of Coca Cola for me and some Miller Lite for Ian, we were off. A.J was the only one there when we arrived because Meghan had to work very early the next day so she was already in bed. Later that night, some other people came out and it ended up being an… okay evening. The other girl that was there was pretty annoying and also a self proclaimed “BFF!!” of a person I highly dislike, so …that was fun.

And the it started to lightning and the wind picked up quite a bit, so we ditched the fire and went inside to play pool. Well, they played pool. I sat in a chair and cuddled with the kitty. On the way inside, I stepped in a hole or something (note to self: DO NOT wear your wedges to a freakin’ bonfire. moron.) and ended up spilling half a glass of Bacardi & Coke in my purse. It wouldn’t have been so bad if I was drinking something clear, but mixed with Coke? All my papers are stained a brown-ish color. I AM SO PISSED OFF. Why did I buy the stupid purse that only buttons together? If it was zipped, my purse would merely be sticky and smell like alcohol. And my papers wouldn’t be ruined.

Ugh.

That about ruined the entire evening for me. And now that I relived it, it’s ruined my day as well. Now I have to try to fix it. I hate having to do stuff. It blows my lazy lifestyle to pieces.

My dad found a Lite Brite at a garage sale and bought it for Mariah. Not the newer lookin’ model, but the old model from like.. the 90s. Well, at least that’s when I was playing with Lite Brites. I didn’t even know they were still making them. I think I was more excited than Mar!

This one was in great condition and even came with two extra books filled with My Little Pony pictures and one of random pictures.

Mariah did great with putting the lights in the right spots. She just.. decided she didn’t want her chicken to be yellow, that’s all. Tonight we’re going to attempt “Lion in a cage” which looks like it contains 8,000 lights. That’s the only thing that I need to get.. More lights for this thing. I was careful to pick up all the extra pieces last night and put them in a zip lock bag where Mariah couldn’t reach them, but I know sooner or later we’ll be missing some.

I wonder if they sell extra lights in stores? Maybe online.. I’ll have to look at Wal-mart today after we cash Ian’s paycheck.
