Ah, Kevin. When we first met 18 years ago, I wasn’t too sure what to make of you. I was only two and I was the baby of the family. And yeah, I might have had an attitude problem, but still.. you were trying to steal my spot. It was bad enough I had a big mean brother to deal with. A cousin? Another boy cousin? I had like 80 on my mother’s side of the family! Oh, I was the baby of that side, too. This is very important information.

But then you got kind of cute. You started to crawl and you were so fat. Sometimes I didn’t even mind if you crawled all over me when I was trying to play on the floor like the good obedient child I was. Also, you had a bunch of parties at Chuck E Cheese and that’s the only time I ever got to go there. You became my little buddy and we would play Barbies for hours (yeah…sorry about that). Polly Pockets.. House.. Tag.. We did our stuff and Chris sat around and did other "big kid" things.

Then your mom decided to have that stinkin’ baby brother and I got shackled with him! You were a "big" boy now and only wanted to play with other big boys. So you and my brother went your merry way and once again I was stuck playing with a baby. What gives, Kevin?! I was your buddy! Me! Where’s the loving devotion that I deserve? You’re lucky your brother turned out to be an adorable little boy who would play whatever I wanted to. But I still haven’t forgiven you. Maybe if you came over to play Barbies..

So now you’re 18 and you graduated high school.. I guess you’re still pretty cool. Our relationship is the "Hey, ugly!" kind of relationship but it suits us. Plus, you let me call you McKevin so that makes you awesome in my book. Oh by the way? You seriously do remind me of McLovin’.. It’s creepy.

What was I rambling about now? Oh yeah. Congrats, dude. You made it! And I’m still your favorite cousin, right?
