Gabriel has been walking for a couple of weeks now and I FINALLY caught it on video the other day. Mind you, it’s dark and hurried but it works. :) My boy is so big!

I know I haven’t been that great at updating this more than once a week and I apologize. I don’t even have an excuse except.. well, laziness. Here’s what I’ve been up to:

Friday. Ian, Danny, Gabriel and I went to the city to sell his Playstation 2, the PS2 games, an orginal Nintendo and some games, a Nintendo 64 and some Super Nintendo games (i’m keeping the Super Nintendo. I gotta play Mario World every now and then!). He got a good amount on all of them, so we went to Best Buy to buy him a Playstation 3. After buying a second controller to go with it, we headed off to Applebees for dinner. Besides having to sit in the bar area and listen to drunken idiots, it was a good time. Gabriel enjoyed eating off our plates and eventually took his bottle and stared at random people in a sleepy haze. We returned back home after swinging by to pick Mariah up from AJ and Meghan’s house. Then I had to deal with Ian and Danny wanting to play PS3 all. night. long. I don’t even know WHEN Ian crawled in to bed next to me.

Saturday. We all kind of sat around wasting time until about 3pm when we started getting ready to go to Hidden Trails Corn Maze. Its been going since 1998, yet none of us have ever been to it! So, when the kids were all ready to go, we drove out to Ian’s parent’s house since that’s who we were going with. Ian and his dad drove down in the ‘37 Chevy and I rode with Linda and the kids in her car.

The theme for the corn maze this year was Witch Way. It looks like this. Its actually split in to two different mazes. The top one is 2.7 miles and more difficult and the bottom one is 2 miles and supposedly more easy. Well, we went on the bottom one and actually finished it in under an hour. Mariah and Gabriel had a blast, too. After that, we walked around and played with things Hidden Trails had spread around the area.

Mariah was spending the night at my grandma’s house, so Linda and I drove her to Sparta to drop her off. When we got there, she decided she wanted to go home. Go figure. She LOVES staying there. I think she was just really tired and who DOESN’T want their own bed when they’re tired? So, Gabriel stayed and Mariah came home where she crashed after an hour of playing in her room.

Oh, here’s something else that happened Saturday night: GABRIEL STARTED WALKING! He does it all the time now. :) SO happy. Mariah walked at 10 months, too. So did I, actually.

Sunday. Nothing. Sundays in our house is dedicated to football during the day and the Fox line up at night. Except that stupid baseball ruined the line up this week. JUST END ALREADY, BASEBALL. NOBODY HERE LIKES YOU OKAY?

Okay, fine. My husband does. My son does, too. But they don’t get a vote. Just me.

Anyway. Moving on.
